Believers

How splendid, because these skies do shelter my realism.
Most forceful, they promise these tears to wait.
To await this age become, and tragic! Unto this prison.
Believe, and portray your friends your fate.

This day to all, can silence their faithful cause.
No longer this marching clan, their music for all to hear.
That flows and mourns and linger they feign their sudden pause.
And woe their hopefuls, belong to their image and disappear.

Soon to those this bellow, awaken your faint heart.
To whom I preach to yonder, veteran my heart to be.
Since failing your wish, your courage took part.
Long may you thrive, to heaven your soul take me.

So balanced your early drive, your youthful flame.
Yet enjoy the moment forget the question, the days ahead.
When winter turns to spring, the past to whom you remain.
Believers toil, combine young dreams to live instead.
